Crypto Trading Disclaimer – Overview

Crypto products that are bought, sold, held, or traded ("Crypto Trading") on the Cellus financial wallet by customers in Nigeria are offered by Eleastar Technologies Limited ("We" ) and facilitated by a licensed third-party service provider, Quidax Technologies Limited (Quidax).

Eleastar Technologies does not directly offer Crypto Trading services. Customers who engage in any crypto transactions through the Cellus wallet do so directly with Quidax, not with Eleastar Technologies.

Eleastar Technologies is not licensed to offer Crypto Trading services and is not liable for any losses incurred by customers in connection with crypto-related activities on the Cellus wallet.

Please be aware that crypto products are not issued, insured, or regulated by the Government of Nigeria or the Central Bank of Nigeria. Accordingly, customers do not have any rights under Nigerian consumer protection laws in the event of a loss in the value of their crypto holdings.

Crypto products involve a high level of risk and may not be suitable for all investors. Before deciding to buy, sell, hold, or trade crypto products, you should carefully assess your financial situation, understand the risks involved, and seek advice from an independent financial advisor.

Service Provider

Our cryptocurrency wallet services are powered by Quidax Technologies Limited, a company licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of Nigeria to operate as a digital asset service provider. Quidax is responsible for:

• Cryptocurrency wallet infrastructure and custody services
• Processing incoming and outgoing cryptocurrency transactions
• Compliance with applicable cryptocurrency regulations
• Security of digital assets and wallet infrastructure
• Any trading services accessed through the wallet interface

Supported Cryptocurrencies

Through our partnership with Quidax, you can store, send, and receive the following digital assets in your Cellus wallet:

• Bitcoin (BTC)
• Ethereum (ETH)
• Litecoin (LTC)
• Bitcoin Cash (BCH)
• Ripple (XRP)
• Tether (USDT)
• Other supported cryptocurrencies as made available by Quidax

Note: While we provide wallet services for these cryptocurrencies, any trading activities are conducted directly with Quidax and subject to their terms and conditions.

Risk Disclosure

Key risks include but are not limited to:

• Market Volatility: Cryptocurrency prices are extremely volatile and can fluctuate dramatically. You may experience significant losses, including total loss of investment.
• Regulatory Risk: Cryptocurrency regulations are evolving and may change without notice, affecting availability, value, or legality.
• Technology Risk: Blockchain technology may be subject to technical issues, network congestion, or security vulnerabilities.
• Liquidity Risk: Some cryptocurrencies may have limited liquidity, making it difficult to buy or sell at desired prices.
• Cybersecurity Risk: Digital assets are subject to hacking, theft, and unauthorized access risks.

Important Considerations

• No Investment Advice: Cellus does not provide investment advice. We only provide wallet services. Any trading decisions through Quidax are your responsibility.
• Service Distinction: Cellus provides wallet services only (storage, sending, receiving). Trading services are provided directly by Quidax.
• Suitability: Cryptocurrency services involve significant risks and may not be suitable for all users. Only use money you can afford to lose.
• Tax Obligations: You are responsible for understanding and complying with all tax obligations related to cryptocurrency activities.

Fees and Charges

Cryptocurrency wallet and related services are subject to fees, which may include:

• Network transaction fees (for sending cryptocurrencies)
• Wallet service fees (if applicable)
• Deposit and withdrawal fees (charged by Quidax)
• Currency conversion fees (if applicable)

All applicable fees will be disclosed before you complete any transaction. Cellus does not charge fees for basic wallet services, but network fees and Quidax fees may apply. Fee structures may change with reasonable notice.

Account Verification

To use cryptocurrency services, you must complete identity verification (KYC) procedures as required by Quidax and applicable regulations, including government-issued ID, proof of address, and additional documentation as requested.

Transaction Limits

Cryptocurrency transactions are subject to daily, monthly, and annual limits based on your account verification level and applicable regulations. These limits may be adjusted without prior notice for compliance or risk management purposes.

Security Measures

To protect your digital assets, we and Quidax implement various security measures including multi-signature wallet technology, cold storage, two-factor authentication (2FA), regular security audits, and data encryption. However, no system is completely secure.

For disputes related to cryptocurrency wallet functionality within Cellus, please contact our support team.

Regulatory Compliance

Our cryptocurrency services comply with applicable Nigerian regulations and international standards. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services if required by regulatory authorities or if we determine that continued service would violate applicable laws.
